Welcome to Jupiter Tequesta Orchid Society
We are a non-profit organization affiliated with the American Orchid Society
JTOS was formed in January 1997 to bring together and educate the people of the
Jupiter and Tequesta areas. Pat Dempsey ...and Tim Polovino started out at the Home Depot in Jupiter, teaching the locals how to care for and grow Orchids.
This had a quick following and has expanded each year since. We now have approx. 70 members and most of them attend our regular meeting/classes each month.
Our group meets the 2nd Wednesday each month at the Jupiter Community Center. We have renowned experts as speakers at our meetings. Some of our members are AOS Judges and award winning Orchid growers. Each meeting is unique with member Orchid Show-n-Tell, Orchid Sales, Orchid Raffles, Networking, Coffee and refreshments.
The meetings are open to the public. To join our Society membership fees are $25 per
person per year and $30 for a 2 person family membership, per year.
